Key Design Features
1. Single-Ring Structure for Safe & Stable Handling
The integrated single-ring edge design precisely accommodates crucible tongs, ensuring a stable, non-slip grip during high-temperature handling, placement, and transfer. The ring height is typically controlled between 15–25 mm, providing clamping stability without obstructing the view inside the furnace.
2. Faster Heating Rate
Compared to double-ring crucibles, the single-ring design eliminates the bottom support ring, allowing the outer wall to have greater direct contact with heating coils or flames. This results in a faster heating rate — particularly advantageous for jewelry casting operations that require frequent removal and replacement of molten metal.
3. Thermal Stress Reduction
The ring structure increases the thermal capacity of the rim, reducing the temperature difference between the edges and the center, and lowering the risk of thermal stress cracking during rapid heating and cooling cycles.
